Coal Briquette Dryer is a conveyorised machine installed for producing briquettes. These dryers are designed to handle abrasive and harsh working environments, while providing continuous and effective working lines. Charcoal/Coal is a desirable fuel because it produces a hot, long-lasting, fire. Combined with other materials and formed into uniform chunks, are called briquettes, it is popularly used for outdoor cooking and industrial purposes..
The coal Briquette dryer is mostly used for producing coal/charcoal briquettes, but can also be used for other minerals like – iron ore, iron oxide, Gypsum, Vinasse, chalk slags, clay etc.this series of dryers have the advantages of fast drying speed, high evaporation intensity, and good product quality. For paste materials such as dehydrated filter cakes, they need to be granulated or made into strips before drying.
Materials are uniformly put on the mesh-belt by the feeder. The mesh-belt uses generally 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire net and it is drawn and moved inside the drier by a transmission device. The drier is composed of several units. For each unit, the hot air is circulated separately. Some exhausted gas is discharged with a special moisture elimination blower. The waste gas is controlled through an adjustment valve. The hot air passes through the mesh-belt covered with the material from the top to the bottom or from the bottom to the top and this will complete the heat and mass transfer process. This process will bring the material water away. The mesh-belt moves slowly, running speed can be freely adjusted according to the material temperature. The final products after drying will fall into the material collector continuously. The top and low circulation units can be freely equipped according to the users’ demand. The unit number can be selected according to the demand.
DW series multi-layer belt dryer is a continuous drying equipment for batch production. It is suitable for large-scale production of difficult-to-dry materials with low drying rate. The equipment has compact structure, small floor area, simple operation, convenient maintenance and stable operation.
